1st Meeting in Magdeburg
The first Steering Committee Meeting, hosted by the Ministry for Regional Development and Transport of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt, took place in Magdeburg on 21st December in Magdeburg.
2nd Meeting in Stockholm
The first Transnational Project Group Meeting, hosted by the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Division of Urban and Regional Studies, took place on 4th–5th February in Stockholm.
3rd Meeting in Leipzig
The second Transnational Project Group Meeting, hosted by the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography took place on 29th April in Leipzig.
4th Meeting in Budapest & Gödöllő
The third Transnational Project Group Meeting, hosted by the Centre for Regional Studies, HAS took place on 20th June in Budapest, and was related to the ESPON Open Seminar in Gödöllő.
5th Meeting in Kainuu
The 4th Transnational Project Group Meeting, hosted by the University of Oulu, Kajaani University Consortium, AIKOPA took place on 1st-2nd August in Kainuu, Vuokatti.
Scale ESPON Seminar Budapest
At the international Scales Seminar, hosted by the VÁTI and took place on 27th October in Budapest., Judit Timár disseminated the SEMIGRA results in a panel discussion.
6th Meeting in Krakow
The fifth Transnational Project Group Meeting took place on 1st December in Krakow, and was related to the ESPON Seminar (29−30th November) where Karin Wiest presented the results of the SEMIGRA.
‘Situations’ Seminar Debrecen, Hungary
At the ‘Situations’ Seminar, hosted by the Mobilitás Észak-alföldi Regionális Ifjúsági Szolgáltató Iroda and the Hajdúságért Hallgatókért és Civilekért Egyesület, and took place on 8th December 2011 in Debrecen, Judit Timár presented a summary on the Észak-Alföld case study of the SEMIGRA research.

The Research Centre for Economic and Regional Studies altogether with the regional stakeholder (ÉARDA) organised a regional workshop where the results of the case study, the SWOT analysis and the policy advices were discussed with different agents of the region.

7th Meeting in Tokaj
The sixth Transnational Project Group Meeting hosted by the University of Miskolc and the Research Centre for Economic and Regional Studies took place on 9−10th February, 2012. in Tokaj, Hungary. At the fieldtrip, the researchers met civil society representatives in the village of Balsa.
Final Conference of the SEMIGRA project
The Final Conference of the SEMIGRA ESPON-project took place on 9th May in Lutherstadt-Wittenberg, Germany.
9th Meeting in Aalborg
The final Transnational Project Group Meeting took place on 12th June in Aalborg, Denmark and was related to the ESPON Open Seminar (13−14th June) where Karin Wiest presented the final results of the SEMIGRA.
